The Queen of Heart necklace connects to Alice in Wonderland (as with every piece in my tea party collection). The cameo heart locket center elouds to how the queen of hearts yells off with her head to Alice. There is a rose charm because Alice begins the Queen of Heart scene by painting the white roses red. Alice has a box of comfits and a thimble in her pocket (the only items she carries from the real world into Wonderland). Alice gives each of the creatures a comfit and she awards herself with the thimble.

The ace of heart charm eluds to the playing cards in Alice in Wonderland. The Card Soldiers are the loyal servants of the Queen of Hearts. The White Rabbit is also the Queen of Hearts' executioner, using scissors to behead the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and other characters. The Golden key: The key to the tiny door. Alice finds the key on a little table made of glass. She accidentally leaves the key on the table when she becomes tiny, so she is not able to reach it to unlock the door and enter the garden.
